ASSOCIATION OF THE SOCIO-ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT STUDIES (ASEDS)

The Association will promote learning and research in Development Economics and allied areas. The objective is sought to be achieved by

  • Undertaking, organizing coordinating and maintaining research library and documentation centre .
  • Holding conferences and research courses periodically.
  • Publishing books, journals, reports, research papers or summaries of papers separately or collectively, or in a periodical which may be issued under the auspices of Association.
  • Co-operating/ interacting with other institutions having similar objectives and sharing information with other reputed Associations, both national and international.
  • Mobilizing monetary and other resources from public and private donors or members or others for realizing the above objectives.

Functions of ASEDS

The Association of Socio- Economic Development will carry out its objective through various means such as; conferences, seminars, research programmes, publications, fellowship, co-operation, reward & award, etc.
